EVEN THOUGH I AM BUSY WRITING
I dropped into the blog to say:
My story looking for the country of love was a finalist in the Diagram Innovative Fiction Contest and will be published in the All-Fiction issue out at the end of June. Michael Martone - we heard him read at AWP - judged this one.
Down The Plug Hole, short short fiction, is out at Denver Syntax.
Another story, The Second Coming, is out in the recent issue of Re;al.
Also, here's some great reading at the New Yorker from George Saunders' Puppy.
Here's an essay that Pia Ehrhardt pointed me to, an essay in the NYT Magazine by Amy Fusselman, thatI loved. I have now put Amy Fusselman on my must read shelf.
Of course, you will also have to track down and read Pia's book Famous Fathers which is out now.
Now I am back to editing a story.

Here are some poetry reads--Bob Arter posted one of his favorites; then tiff holland posted hers, and Jeff Landon--that came out of our online office.
All Watched Over By Machines Of Loving Grace by Brautigan Scroll Down till you get the poem.
