PICKED UP A SHORT STORY ANTHOLOGY TODAY

Plus I saw a movie at the Nova with a wonderful performance from Edward Norton in:
The Painted Veil, a period drama that was suprisingly engaging. I recalled how I used to love reading Somerset Maugham!

MORE GREAT MOVIES -- DOCOS

When you're recovering from a cold/flu and you've exhausted all the DVD store has to offer and you don't want to watch any old mindless thing, here are a couple of lovely choices... or maybe the second one is not best described as lovely.

Buddha's Lost Boys

Working Man's Death

Today, I read more of Rumi from The Soul of Rumi by Coleman Barks while it rained and poured and gloomed outside.

FILMS TO SEE

As It Is In Heaven -- Saw this on DVD and loved it. Pulled me out to the blase space I'd been having with movies that have been on lately.

The Secret of the Grain -- Saw this at the Nova. Brilliant. Could have been any Passover I'd attended with all the 'family stuff'

I'd written more about these films but I lost it between one web screen and the other! Anyway, enjoy.

GRAFFITI: LOOKING OVER MY SON'S SHOULDER

If you'd told me a few years ago that I could enjoy my son's taste in Hard Trance music and love some of the sites he browses (graffiti), I'd have been very surprised.

Here's a great one: In Melbourne

And the parent site: This is Vandalism
